Business Services for the Do Not Call List
As of September 30, 2008, the National Do
Not Call List (DNCL) will came into effect
in Canada.
- What does this mean for you?
To eliminate
any problems caused by this new
procedure and to protect your company
from
offences, a filter can be applied to
your outgoing calls preventing you from
calling excluded phone numbers. This new
feature can be integrated to your Talk2
service without lifting a finger!
Please note that in order to be in
compliance with the DNCL terms you must
register with the government of Canada
as a telemarketer and subscribe to the
area code in which you wish to do
telemarketing. All offenders with the
DNCL expose themselves to penalties that
can reach $1,500 to $15,000 per
infraction.
